Laura Ruth hated corduroys when she was a little kid, which was unfortunate - because her mother thought there was nothing cuter than a toddler in pastel corduroys. She loved soft, twirly dresses, and was so obsessed with a pair of black, bejeweled velvet loafers that she wouldn't take them off for gym class on the first day at a new school and had to sit in time-out at the top of the bleachers. 

She cried the day she lost a beloved pink Jelly in a creek. 

All of that is to say - Laura Ruth has had a life-long passion for clothes, for shoes, for colors, and for how good it can feel to be wearing an outfit that makes you feel like the very best version of yourself. 

And almost as much as she loves to style her own clothes, she loves to help other people feel that same way about their wardrobes. She believes that less can be more, that small tweaks can totally change the way an outfit comes together, and she loves to play with clothes the same way she loved to play with paper dolls and Barbies as a kid.
